Reggie had been in Club Mirage with his girlfriend Marie when the Great Shift swept over the world. He had swapped in to the body of a gorgeous blond while his girlfriend remained in her own body, which happened to be that of a gorgeous blond. Marie was having a hard time adjusting to her boyfriend becoming her girlfriend but was trying to be supportive of Reggie as he tried to get used to his body. The couple was at a cross roads in their relationship, so one day Reggie sat down with Marie and let her know that he understood that if she wasn't comfortable dating a woman he could understand that, but that no matter what he would still love her. Marie listened and took the day to think things over. After a while she had come to her decision. She walked purposefully in to Reggie's apartment and before he could say anything, Marie pushed the man/woman she loved against the wall and gave Reggie a kiss that was all the answer he needed about their future.
