Fighting School Bullying: Punished on Spring Break

Jessica smiled to herself s she walked away in Heather's body. She knew Heather, now in Jessica's body for the next two weeks, was staring daggers at her. Jessica had been heavy her whole life, a glandular problem got the ball rolling and her depression from that led her to eat to make herself feel better. Like a lot of people with weight problems Jessica joked and made fun of herself to slow down the bullies in the world. If they were laughing with her then they wouldn't be laughing at her right? One of the few who felt it necessary to keep making fun of Jessica was Heather. Heather was your typical rich, beautiful spoiled brat. As Jessica's father put it, "she was born on third base and believes she hit a triple." She made sure to belittle Jessica at every opportunity. One day in the hall between classes Jessica heard the familiar taunting voice of her tormentor, "Hey wide load, shouldn't you have some flags and lights on you to warn oncoming traffic? I mean  what size do you even wear?" Jessica wheeled on Heather, her face flush in anger, "Why? do you need to borrow something?" The small crowd around laughed at Jessica's comeback which set off Heather, "You fat cow, I would have to gain 900 pounds to be your size!" Just as Jessica got ready to unleash years of pent up anger at Heather, Mr. Gonzalez the school principal came around the corner, "Heather, Jessica in my office. Now." Both girls quickly shut up and followed Mr. Gonzalez. The girls waited silently while Mr. Gonzalez went in to his office. After about twenty minutes he called them in, "Ladies this school has become part of a growing anti bullying program called "Walk a Mile" I just spoke to both your parents and they have agreed to allow you to take part. You will switch bodies over spring break, this is more of a lesson for you Heather. Your parents are afraid you are becoming, and i quote your mother, 'a horrible little bitch' and feel this will help you learn some empathy for those less fortunate than you." Heather's jaw dropped in shock while a broad smile spread across Jessica's face. Now on the first day Jessica ran in to Heather at the water park, it was mandatory that Heather could not simply hide at home, she greeted her with one of her favorite jibes, "Hey wide load, better check the weight limit on that chair. If you break it you buy it!" Heather burned with embarrassment but said nothing as she watched her beautiful body walk away. It was going to be a long two weeks.

  1. Jessica is gonna have so much she just may run away. Great angle in the anti-bullying, I know that kind if punishment would really make things in most high schools a but more civil.

  4. I think there probabluy is aa way to rtack the bodies. But I'm sure Jessica is VERY tempted. I wonder if they live in eacj other's house & are forbidden to tell anyone of the swap?

    1. Hi Eotten, the swaps are known so that the other bullies know what is in store for them when they act up. They live in their regular houses with their normal families.
