Surprising Saturday: Like Mother, Like Son

Kathy could not believe this was happening. Last night she went to bed a normal single mom with a nice wine buzz. This morning she woke up in the body of her son and he in hers! Billy had been a huge brat, as he was more often than not, the night before. So after she finally got him in to bed and poured a glass of wine to combat her headache she remembered thinking, "If only he knew what it was like to be the parent, if he was me for one day he would learn a thing or two!" To Kathy's great surprise Billy wasn't horrified to be her, he saw the whole thing as a big game. Now that Billy was the "Mommy" he decided that he was calling the shots. Kathy wanted to stay home hoping they would switch back the next day.Billy on the other hand wanted to go to the birthday party of his classmate that he had been invited to. "Billy you wont be able to play with your friends! You will be stuck talking to the boring grown ups!" Kathy said trying to reason with her son. Billy just laughed her laugh right in her face, "It will be fun just watching you trying to play with the other kids. Now get dressed we are going to that party." Matters were made worse by Billy being able to access her memories. He got dressed in a dress she would never wear to a child's birthday party and he knew how to drive. When Kathy tried to think of knowledge that she would normally know she found herself drawing a blank. Kathy covered her face in embarrassment as Billy swung out of the car with his legs open, giving the dads in the front yard a show, "Come on Billy, if you can drive and dress my body you know how to get out of a car properly!" she said in a hissed whisper. Billy grabbed the present for the party out of the back seat, "You better start calling me Mom and get used to being called Billy if you don't want to come off as a weirdo. Now take this present and go play and try not to make a mess SON!"
