Work Place Accident Part Three

Curtis/Tracey sat sipping coffee trying not to feel self conscious. It was her first time out in public in a skirt and heels and she was still feeling out of place in her body. She had finally started to come to grips with the oddity of her situation. She knew that she was supposed to be Tracey, but she and Doctor John Frink could find no way to restore Tracey's former mind. What was left was the memories and personality of her boss Curtis. Curtis/Tracey struggled with trying to live a life that wasn't hers. He had to smile and put on a happy face as she saw the real Curtis retire and go with his wife Ellen on their trip to Europe they had been looking forward to for so long. She had to suffer through the awkwardness of having Curtis Jr. make a pass at her. Curtis/Tracey was speaking truthfully when she told C.J that he was, "Too much like family to go out with him." The only bright spot was the help that she had been gotten from Doctor Frink, John. He helped her from going completely crazy and convinced her that with the original Tracey gone she had a duty to live her life to the fullest in her memory. The side affect off all of this time they were spending together was that the rumors about them being a couple began to swirl. They both laughed at how funny that was and how people would react if they knew the truth about their situation. Then one night walking back to John's car after dinner, Curtis/Tracey felt a shiver. She found that she got cold much easier as a woman than she did as a man. She was just about to curse herself for forgetting her sweater when she felt John put his coat on her shoulders. For a second Curtis/Tracey was about to protest but she found herself sliding her left hand in to John's right. They walked in silence which carried over to the car ride. Curtis/Tracey got out of the car still wearing John's jacket. For a couple of days they avoided each other, John being a smart man he gave Curtis/Tracey her space. Curtis' male personality was in conflict with Tracey's female hormones, and the more she thought about it the more she realized that she was falling in love with John. She sat there trying to feel feminine and mulling what her next move would be when she heard some one using a bad Morgan Freeman impression say, "Get busy living, or get busy dying" She looked over her shoulder to see two friends chuckling at how bad the impression was, oblivious to the encouragement they had just given a stranger.

Curtis/Tracey was getting ready in a frenzy. She had called John and asked him to meet her for dinner and was determined not to chicken out now. She found the sexy underwear that she had been avoiding and picked out a red dress that would drive her crazy back when she was a man. She had shaved her legs, arm pits and eventually her pubic hair that she had let grow out. Now she was completely bare and there was no denying what she had between her legs now. Slipping on her dress she checked herself in the mirror one more time and headed for the restaurant as she wanted to beat John there.

John was about to walk past Curtis/Tracey when she called out to him, "Hey John, over here!" John was frozen in place by what he saw. He had been doing his best to not let his attraction to her interfere with his relationship with Curtis/Tracey and he was afraid that his impulsive move with the jacket the other day had driven her away. He was conflicted as well by knowing a mans psyche was in the body of the girl he had a crush on but after a while it just didn't seem to matter. "You look amazing!"John blurted as he fumbled for his chair. Curtis/Tracey laughed and blushed at the compliment. She then reached across the table taking John's hands in hers, "Before anything else happens I need to thank you for how supportive you have been. I would have never been able to make it this far without you. I know I have been avoiding you for the last couple of days, but I needed to really figure things out. I want to be the best Tracey I can be. I want to embrace this life and I can't see myself doing that without you in it in a serious way." She then leaned forward and kissed John hard and strong. John had a silly grin on his face and was dumbstruck. Tracey tapped his menu to bring him back to reality, "Now order something, dinner is on me tonight and I have a special present for you later." John found his voice, "Present?" Tracey gave him a sly look, "I'm not spoiling it now but there is a nice red bow on it and it is something I think we will both enjoy."

Work Place Accident part Two

Curtis, that's how he still thought of himself, leaned against the glass of the ice cream freezer. Tracey's body was allergic to alcohol so the next closest legal outlet for his stress was ice cream. Of course the last couple of days had proven that "he" wasn't Curtis at all. Once he visited his body in the hospital he found that Tracey wasn't in it, that his body also thought it was Curtis! The Curtis in the hospital described feeling that his whole life flashed before his eyes in such vivid detail before passing out. Curtis/Tracey went back to the lab that night and tried to go over any data he could find about the accident but was discovered by the project head, Doctor John Frink. Curtis tried to fast talk but it was for not, Doctor Frink had already figured out what had happened, "You aren't Curtis. You think you are but you aren't." The Doctor had a hint of sadness to him as he settled in to a chair opposite Curtis/Tracey. He had been harboring a crush on Tracey since he had started working at the lab but had never had the guts to ask her out. According to his analysis, he might never get the chance, "The power circuit was faulty on the high speed transfer device, so as soon as it got power it went to work. With you and Curtis, the original Curtis, the closest sources of data and receiver it essentially over wrote your brain with Curtis' memories. Essentially making you a copy." Curtis/Tracey was shocked in to silence so Doctor Frink Continued, "I think I can scan your brain to see if Tracey's personality is still in there but if it isn't. She's gone forever." Now Curtis/Tracey was openly crying, "So you are saying she's dead. But can't we get some help, some neurological experts?" Frink shook his head, "If we tell any one about what has happened here, you and I will disappear along with the research. They will dissect you and they will force me to figure out how to make this work again and again. Can you imagine this becoming reliable science and falling in to the wrong hands?" Curtis/Tracey had to agree with Frink's logic.Together they worked after hours scanning to see if any thing was left of Tracey's mind. Tomorrow would be the day to look at all of the scans and find out if the original Tracey could be restored. Curtis/Tracey knew that it meant he would be gone but was glad to be sacrificed if it meant the "real" Tracey could return. Since this could be his last night of existence he was going to go out with at least four Klondike bars in his belly. He had been working hard to not get familiar with his new body but was worried that he wouldn't be able to hold out for much longer. He found himself taking longer and longer showers and the last two nights he had "inappropriate" dreams about Frink. The sooner this all could end, the better.
