Curtis had never been so freaked out in his life. This morning he came to work like any other day, the head electrical engineer at one of the top research labs in the country. His assistant Tracey and their team were setting up some of the new equipment that the "eggheads", as Tracey liked to refer to them, up stairs had designed. It was an experimental bio computer that would revolutionize the transfer of data. What used to take hours would now take minutes and at half the cost. As they were connecting the power supplies a sudden surge took every one by surprise and Curtis and Tracy were sent flying across the room and against the wall knocking them both unconscious. Curtis awoke inside the infirmary his vision was blurry but he instantly knew something was terribly wrong. Besides the soreness he felt in his back and head he didn't have any of the other aches and pains that he had come to be used to as a sixty year old man. Curtis could also tell that, although he had been fit man, he was certainly now much much lighter. He felt a restriction around his chest and his boxers were far tighter than they had been that morning. It was the emptiness between his legs that caused him to sweat. He jumped out of the gurney he was in and was confronted by a mirror. The image knocked him back to the gurney and he grabbed the rolling table to keep himself from falling to the ground. Curtis wasn't Curtis anymore, he was Tracey! He and Tracey had taken to each other right away and struck up a friendship. When she had started working for the company she had talked about how far from home she was now and how she missed her family. Curtis and his wife Ellen took Tracey in as their own son had recently left the nest to head off to college. "Oh god," Curtis thought, "If I am in Tracey's body is she in mine?" Curtis's train of thought was broken by a nurse entered the room, "Hi Tracey, I am glad to see you're awake. I know you and Curtis were close so we can arrange to have someone take you to the hospital. He's in pretty bad shape and his wife is asking for you."
