After breaking free of his bonds the only clothes he could find was a G-string and boots. Slipping them on quickly he knew that his best chance for success was to escape and get to the equipment he had stashed nearby as he doubted he would be winning any hand to hand fights right now. He had left it 400 yards from where he had been hit with the long distance transfer device and was relieved that they had not uncovered it. His orders were to either recover the device or make sure it was destroyed. In his equipment was a global transmitter and a laser targeting device. Once the two were activated it would be mere minutes before a pair of F-22 Raptors would be on the scene to turn the whole installation in to a smoking crater. Once he was sure the GPS was working properly and had lazed the target he moved as quickly as he could to a safe distance. he heard the low hum of the fighters coming in and took cover behind a boulder, watching as the explosions flashed in the night sky. Webb felt satisfaction as the people who were planning to torture him and worse were now very much dead. He rested on the rock for a bit, although his new body was in decent condition it was no where near his old standards, he began to contemplate what had happened to him. He always knew that his death was a possible outcome to his career and had come to terms with that long ago but now he was dead and yet he wasn't. He had now given his life for his country and was alive to tell the tale. In his dark down time between assignments he wondered what his life would have been like if he hadn't joined the army and then joined the top secret special forces group he had spent the last ten years of his life serving. That was David Webb's life though, he wasn't David Webb anymore. He didn't know who he was right now, but this body could be a new beginning for him away from killing and espionage. Soon the area would be surrounded with agents and a CIA satellite would be overhead, he would have to answer a lot of questions. If he stuck around.
