Ten year old Billy was going out to play for the first time after going through the worst week of his life. The Great Shift had swapped him in to the body of his eighteen year old neighbor. His mom who was not swapped had done her best to make Billy's acclimation to his new body as easy as possible but Mother Nature is a harsh mistress and Billy had his first period. The cramps and the bloating were one thing but the need for pads and the aftermath horrified Billy. He was relieved it was finally over and he could go out and have some fun. Billy's mom smiled sadly as he went out the door looking to happy, she just didn't have the heart to tell him he would have to go through it all over again in a month.
